Silicon carbide is used as composite Deoxidizer by major manufacturers, mainly to replace the more expensive deoxidizer products, because it can play a better deoxidation effect. Silicon carbide is often used in steelmaking because of its good deoxidation effect. Ordinary steel, alloy steel and special steel made of silicon carbide have good quality. Can be customized in accordance with customer requirements (provide a variety of content, particle size, packaging).

Silicon Carbide (SiC) is a high-performance industrial material smelted from quartz sand, petroleum coke and wood chips in high-temperature resistance furnaces. With a Mohs hardness of 9.5, second only to diamond, it is recognized as a core super-hard and wear-resistant industrial material. Benefiting from its outstanding high-temperature resistance, erosion resistance, oxidation resistance and acid-base corrosion resistance, silicon carbide has become an indispensable basic raw material for abrasive manufacturing, high-temperature refractory and metallurgical casting industries.

Black SiC features high toughness, excellent wear resistance and cost performance, which is ideal for metal sandblasting & derusting, grinding wheel production, refractory castables and metallurgical deoxidation. Green SiC owns higher purity, denser crystal structure and better cutting performance, making it suitable for high-precision polishing, advanced ceramic production, semiconductor auxiliary materials and fine grinding scenarios.

HONVAN adopts strict raw material selection and standardized smelting processes to ensure stable purity, ultra-low impurities and uniform particle size of all SiC products. We provide full-series specifications including lumps, granular grits and fine powder. Each batch is equipped with a complete chemical composition test report, fully meeting the strict production standards of global industrial customers.
